Profotos Staff Evaluation:

While we do not usually draw similarities between artist's work at Profotos, we cannot help but comment on the likeness between several of An Andrews photographs and those of Ansel Adams. When An first applied for a membership at Profotos, our staff took note of a mention of this similarity in An's personal biography. After reviewing the actual photographs in An's portfolio, it became apparent that several of the images in her portfolio did resemble those of the world renowned Adams.

Several of An's black and white, and color images have qualities, which are the marks of a master photographer. These qualities include the masterful implementation of the following elements: light, contrast, design, balance, composition, texture and form. An's work reflects her masterful knowledge in each of these areas.
