and the United States. In photography, she first began concentrating
on black and white work. In 1985, An began exhibiting her work mainly
in Oregon, Colorado, Massachusetts, and Mississippi. Although she has
never studied the work of Ansel Adams, her work is continually
mistaken for his.
Most recently, she has expanded her work to include color photography
since changing to digital equipment. This has also allowed her to be
far more creative in her work. Some of her work now has a fantasy
appearance in which is spellbinding. Most of her work is still done
so that it appears more like paintings than photographs.
