• Apogee Photo Magazine
This online magazine is host to one of the largest numbers of photo workshops and tour programs on the Web. It also includes a wide variety of books, videos and print publications. Recognized photographers, including Bob Hitchman, John Sexton, and John Gerlach regularly contribute articles. Very impressive, professionally designed site.


• Atlas Magazine
Non-traditional photography magazine site, which is heavy with QuickTime and Shockwave. Content is rather bizarre, but appealing. Professional quality design.
• AV Video and Multimedia Producer
Montly trade magazine geared toward professionals in the video and multimedia production industry. The online version of this magazine includes several selected articles, extensive product coverage and more.
• Black & White World
Great resource for black and white photography online. Included are several discussion groups, a monthly Top 10 for B&W sites, extensive tutorials and much more.
• Blind Spot Magazine
Online version of traditional journal of contemporary photography. Discussions between artists, archive of back issues, work by unknown artists of the future, etc. This site is a must-see for anybody interested in photography, or the arts in general. Very nice, professional site.
• C: The Speed of Light
The Web site for internationally recognized photography writer, A.D. Coleman. A.D.'s columns appear regularly in the The Photo Review, Lens Work Quarterly, Photo Metro, The Underground National, and several others.
• CameraArts
Bi-monthly journal from the publishers of View Camera magazine, "dedicated to the art and craft of small and medium format photography." Included are various articles and subscription information.
• Communication Arts
This site offers techniques and tools for all aspects of communication and design. Incredible advertising and graphic design exhibits, creation and production resources, several articles and more is included. First class site.
• Critical Eye
Several essays and photographs on specific topics, as suggested by editor, Greg rubin. Professional quality layout and design enhances the feel of this site.
• Darkroom Online
One of the premier darkroom related sites on the Internet. Loads of information on darkroom techniques and procedures for black and white, color, and digital photographers alike. Several tips, techniques and FAQ's are included to help photogs get more out of their darkroom experience. You are invited to help them build their darkroom database!
• Design & Publishing Center
This site is home to three monthly web publications: Web Design & Review; Design, Type & Graphics (DT&G) , and PhotoShop Tips and Tricks. The Center offers a lot of good content and loads of free products and information. Very nice site.
• DoubleTake
This site is published by the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University and it features photography, student essays, poetry and more. An extensive selection of content is available from the current issue and all previous issues.
• Endzone
Very impressive action shots of pro football teams by photojournalist, Mickey Pfleger. The site includes numerous examples of Mickey's to-notch work in photojournalism, an essay of NFL quarterbacks and much more! Pfleger's work has appeared in National Geographic, Sports Illustrated, Time and many others. this site is a must-see for any serious football fan!
• Eye Caramba Magazine
Very professional design and good content are the trademarks of this online magazine, which is published quarterly. Editor Gordon Stettinius encourages submissions from all photographers and photographer/writers. This site is worth a look.
• FocalPoint f/8
Online photojournalism publication, which is filled with incredible images and essays. Art collectors should consider checking into this site, as they auction images to support the sites's ongoing development. Very impressive, professional quality site.
• FotoShow Magazine
Online magazine devoted to extraordinary photography that is either unpublished, or underpublished. Good design and layout.
• Grafica Obscura
Paul Haeberli presents a collection of his interesting articles on this site, for your perusal. Be sure to check out Haeberli's Collection of Digital Images and his demonstration of Synthetic Lighting for Photography.
• HyperZine
If you are looking for photography information, you should look to this site for some answers. it includes resources for products, manufacturers, buying tips, FAQ's, discussion groups and a lot more.
• LensWork Quarterly
Quarterly online-version of the traditional print publication, which is "Dedicated to essays, articles and portfolios on photography and the creative process." The online gallery features top-notch color and black and white images, which are definitely worth a look. Well designed and easy to navigate, makes this site a joy to visit.
• Leonardo On Line
Online version of MIT's 30-year-old print journal, Leonardo. The main focus of this magazine is to "focus on writings by artists who work with science and technology-based art media. Impressive galleries and illustrations.

• LIFE Magazine
The online version of a classic magazine with incredible photography. Included in the online version, you will find: selected articles from this month's newsstand issue, current and past photo essays, FAQ's, a virtual gallery of the LIFE archives, and the LIFE Store. Very nice site.
• Mythago
Impressive fine art galleries by several promising artists. Beautiful imagery and articles are included. Easy navigation and good latyout make this site first class.
• National Geographic
Very large online version of what is arguably the "top-notch" magazine for photographers. Dozens of articles, hundreds of photographs and several interactive areas make this site excellent. What more could we expect from the NGS?
• New York Institute of Photography
The NYI online site is filled with how-to information, contests, digital photography info. and much more. You will find much more information on this site than you will in most other photography-information sties on the Internet. NYI also offers professional courses in photography, which are rated among the best. Slick layout and easy navigation. Definitely among the best.
• Outdoor Photographer
The online version of one of the premier 'outdoor' photography magazines. Included within the online version are: cover photos; feature articles, workshop information, and additional resources and information. If you enjoy shooting in the great outdoors, then you need to check out this site.
• People Magazine Online
Online home for the traditionsalnewsstand publication. Included are several photos and short stories. They are also offering a free email version of the magazine, which is available to anyone.
• PhotoArts
Fine-art photography site, which incldes a large variety of exhibits for your enjoyment. Collectors and dealers in fine art photography will enjoy this site, as it caters directly to their interests. Several articles and additional resources regarding fine art photography are included. A discussion forum is also available for those who are interested.
• Photo District News
Online version of the traditional print magazine for professional photographers. Included are several top-notch portfolios, numerous articles, a stock photography section and much more. Exceptional quality site.
• PEI (Photo Electronic Imaging)
Online version of the traditional printed publication. Very good design and layout makes browsing through this site simple. Included are numerous articles, an extensive tutorial area and much more. Professionally designed, impressive site.
• Photography in New York
Anybody who is interested in the photography scene in New York City needs to check out this site for some great information. Listings for all of the major exhibits and events in NYC are listed, as well as maps of the downtown district and a very large catalog of well-known photographers.
• Photo Life Magazine
The online home for Canada's largest circulation photography magazine. Included are several articles and photographs from the current issue archive of past issues, and numerous high quality photo illustrations.
• PhotoLink Gallery
Approximately 2,000 photographs and mixed media images are included within the expanses of this massive 3-D web site by Daniel Leighton. Several artists exhibits are included within their own galleries and each has something different to offer the visitor. This site is definitely one of the premier 3-D photography sites on the Internet today!
• PhotoMetro
Online version af the traditional print magazine from San Francisco's Bay area. Included are several galleries, a forum, selected articles and essays and a whole lot more. Impressive design sets this site apart from others. Very well done.
• Shots
The online version of the traditional printed quarterly journal of black and white photography. Not a lot of content is included on the site, however, you will find several photographs from the current issue, as well as several dozen others from previous issues.
• Sight
Online photography magazine with a traditional style layout, which offers vistors several areas of exploration. Submit your own photographs to their online collection, read the latest photo essay, or purchase a book in their online bookstore. Professional quality designed site.
• Time Life Photo Sight
Hundreds of images are available for viewind on this site from Time-Life, whose collection of images is in the area of 2 million! Updated weekly, you will find several galleries, including some of the greatest photographers of all time, several photo essays and much more. Great site!
• Urban Desires
Very well designed site with a lot of artistic expression. Although this site is not directed toward to just photographers, you will find quite a few impressive photographs within their galleries.
• View Camera Magazine
Online version of the bi-monthly printed magazine, which caters to large format photography enthusiats. The site offers several past published articles, aclassifieds section, upcoming feature articles, and more.
• Zone Zero
"From analog to digital photography." Very impressive documentary essays and galleries. The storeies included within the essays carry a lot of political weight, which is sure to grab your attention! Exceptionally designed, first class site!
