Nigel Witham started photography as a hobby 20 years ago and is entirely self-taught. He owns and runs a professional architectural design practice in the UK and has offices in Wellington, New Zealand, Cairns Australia and Gujurat India. It may not be strictly by coincidence these are all great locations where Nigel has been able to indulge his photographic passions.

Nigel loves nature and extreme sports and has camped out in Iceland to capture the sunrise, hung out of old helicopters, waded single-handed miles up river gorges in New Zealand, been mobbed in India, dived 50m beneath the sea, trekked through snowfields and climbed down precipitous waterfalls all with several cameras in his rucksack.
