Motorsport photography can be characterized as hard hitting fast action, which produces an overwhelming feeling of excitement. Working as a motorsport photographer is very demanding both aesthetically, as well as technically. It is one thing to produce beautiful images of static, or slow moving objects, but it is a completely different matter when your subject is moving at 250+ kilometers/hour!

Steve Chamberlain's work in motorsport photography is solid in both its aesthteic and technical properties. Steve's passion for motorsports is what drives him to excel in this most difficult aspect of the photographic medium. Our staff was very impressed by Steve's ability to render sharp detail in his "panning" shots of cycles, which were shot while moving at incredible speeds. Panning with objects moving at these speeds is extremely difficult and Steve's images are evidence to the fact that he is a master of the "pan"!
