David Mendel is a digital photographer who is becoming well known for his food and still life photography. David grew up in the New York City area and is now residing in Seattle. David has a Bachelors degree from SUNY New Paltz and has also attended film school where he was able to hone his photographic skills.
To quote David himself "I like to create mouth-watering photos that look good enough to eat." He has worked with local Seattle restaurant owners to photograph their restaurants and some of their featured menu dishes.
In addition to his interest in still life photography, David has also worked with graphic designers in the Seattle area, and he recently photographed the University of Washington Book Store’s holiday catalog that reached over 50,000 people.
Working with film also introduced him to independent music producers who needed videos, publicity shot, and albums covers for their artists. This broad experience in both photography and film work has helped him broaden his area of expertise, which he brings to every new assignment.
David is very proud of the many projects he has created because he knows they have all helped him reach his ultimate goal; to bring a fresh look to food and still life photography.
