I am a self-taught photographer, who started in the field in 1970 with my first film camera. I immediately became captivated by the power of the photographic medium and I sought after learning as much knowledge about the subject as I could through extensive reading of photographic texts. Artistic photography became my passion during this formative time.

Over the years, my life evolved and I proceeded through my profession as an engineer and college student, but I havၥ always held onto my love of artistic photography, which has been the greatest passion of my life.

During the past few decades, photography has played a great role in my life as I have created many photographs in my familiar field of engineering and architecture, as well as other technical subjects.

I have participated in several different photography contests and gallery exhibitions. Some of my awards include:

• First prize in color on paper category in the photographic aid Undecimo National Hall Fotografia Artistica, supported by the University Western Center and the Photo Cinema Club Barquisimeto, Venezuela, year 1974
• Mention of Honor in the slide film category in the Photographic Aid Second Hall the Water, organized by the National Institute of Sanitary Works, INOS. Public Directorate of Intelligence and Relations, Caracas Venezuela. Year 1978
• Mention of Honor in the Photographic Aid First Hall Photography of Caracas, Week of Caracas in the color on paper category Mention Meter of Caracas organized by the Interior of the Federal District, Caracas year 1981
• First Prize in Photographic Aid 38 Anniversary of the INOS in the color on paper category, organized by the National Institute of Sanitary Works, INOS. Public Directorate of Intelligence and Relations, Caracas year 1981
• Mention Exhibition in the photographic aid II Hall Photography of Caracas, Week of Caracas in the color on paper category, aid supported by the Interior of the Federal District, Caracas year 1982
• Special mention, granted by the National Institute of Nutrition, in the Photographic Aid related to the Nutrition. Caracas, year 1984
