Allan Philiba is an award winning location (travel) photographer, art director and graphic designer. Born in Paris, Allan studied art in New York City and graduated with a degree in commercial art. He's a veteran who studied camouflage and construction drafting at the Army Corp of Engineer School in Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

His photographic career spanning, more than 30 years, has allowed him to work with scores of Fortune 500 clients including the US Travel Division, the French West Indies Tourist Board, UNICEF, American Express Travel and Card divisions, IBM, Xerox, Nikon, American Airlines, TWA, Air France, British Airways, Varig, Finnair, Cunard, Holland America & Renaissance cruise ship lines, Hilton and Meridian Hotels, to name the best known, plus numerous publishers of books, magazines, calendar, etc...

His "on location" photography in Western Europe, South, Central and North America, the Caribbean, Asia has appeared in major publications including Travel and Leisure Magazine, Town and Country, Modern Maturity, AAA Today, Popular Photography, the New York Times Sunday Travel section, Cleveland Plain Dealer and numerous in-flight magazines, plus a variety of books, calendar and record covers.

Allan is also featured in "AMERICAN PHOTOGRAPHER, an illustrated Who's Who among leading Contemporary American Photographers." He is a life member of (ASMP) the American Society of Media Photographers and the Art Director’s Club of New York.

Allan has, for many years, leased images from his vast color stock library to many different markets, and has more recently created archival, digital images of selected photos for sale and to exhibit at galleries and art exhibitions.

All the digital images shown on my pages are available as stock photography and can be leased for commercial reproduction. The images can also be purchased as Archival color prints on any size paper, up to 19"x13." Please contact me for all prices.
