Carol J. Hicks is an artist by nature, drawn to photography from a young age. Born and raised in western Canada, she has had the opportunity to live and learn in California, and Massachusetts where she now currently resides.

A self taught photographer, a young mother of 3, her philosophy is to slow down and find the beauty in the world that surrounds us. Whether it be the secret inner world of a flower, a pool of reflection, or a lone country road. The solitude of her work is evident in every project she takes on.
