Profotos Staff Evaluation:

The work in Angela Browne's portfolio can be described as that of a master story teller, who has an exceptional ability to detail the lives of people and the world around them. Angela's work is very beautiful in both an aesthetic and technical sense of the word.

Several of Angela's photojournalism works are actually very beautiful pieces of fine art. Take for example, the image at the top of this page. Not only is this image a great example of the aesthetic beauty of Angela's work, but it is also a wonderful example of her intriguing style of external context (an image requiring narration to describe its meaning).

Along with Angela's ability to tell stories through her photography, we also found her work exhibits a perfect sense of the technical side of the medium as well. After all, this is the portfolio of a photographer who made her first photograph at the age of three!

We sincerely enjoyed reviewing the works in Angela's portfolio for inclusion on Profotos. In our opinion we believe that Angela, along with her husband, Paul (a Nature Photography member of Profotos), are among the best photographers in the entire country of Canada!
