Jon Canfield is landscape and nature photographer and writer currently based in the Pacific Northwest. His interest in photography began in his late teens when he was climbing in Yosemite and Switzerland. Today, Jon's favorite subjects are the old barns and abandoned farmhouses in the rural United States.

Jon is an instructor with BetterPhotos.com and his articles appear in many photography magazines. He co-authored "Photo Finish: The Digital Photographer's Guide to Printing, Showing, and Selling Images", and wrote "RAW 101: Better Images With Photoshop Elements and Photoshop", both published by Sybex.
