Ted Petit spent 25 years as a software engineer in the aerospace industry. Most of that time was spent developing low observable (i.e., infrared / radar) simulation models for the military flight training industry. During this time he began studying, training with and using photography to document his work for technical analysis.

After studying the technical aspects of photography Ted began developing his vision for its artistic side. Today Ted focuses his talents on cutting horse, western event and landscape photography.

Ted is a member of the National Cutting Horse Association and the Pacific Coast Cutting Horse Association.
