Australian photographer, Michael Oakes, has made an impressive career out of sports photography. Michael's images have been published in several leading sports magazines in Australia and abroad, during his relatively short career. The composition and intensity captured within Michael's images is very exceptional and at the top of its league.

One item of interest, which jumped out at our staff, was when we learned that Michael is a self-taught photographer, who never had any formal schooling in photography! The images in Michael's portfolio are representative of the best images from the best photography schools around. Dedication and perseverance have definitely paid-off for Michael's work, as many national, as well as international publishers now recognize his work as being part of the best in this field.
