His photographs have been published in numerous books, calendars, web sites, and magazines, including Nature's Best Photography, National Geographic Adventure, Audubon, Blue Planet Quarterly, Sport Diver, Skin Diver, and more. Prints of his work have been selected for juried art exhibitions, invitational photography exhibits, and solo shows. In 2006, he won the Nature's Best Photography Competition in the Creative Digital Category, and won Highly Honored in the Oceans Category. In 2004, he was the Hawaii Photo Expo winner in both the master category and the people's choice award.
His fine art photography was featured in Hana Hou magazine, the inflight publication for Hawaiian Airlines.
The underwater photo print series, "In the Realm of the Pacific," launched in 2002, is an ongoing project to bring awareness of the tremendous beauty in our seas. A portion of the proceeds for these print sales is donated to the nonprofit Ocean Conservancy.
Together with his wife Ninette Hart, they operate W.A.N.T. Photography from their home in Hilo, Hawaii.
