Peter Watson is a self taught photographer who has been photographing the landscape since the early seventies. He is based in England and travels extensively throughout Britain, America, Europe and Australasia.

Watson's fine art limited edition prints are widely exhibited and are sought after by collectors. His reputation has been built on his large format images which capture and reproduce the landscape in incredible detail. He uses a 5x4 inch view camera and occasionally a 6x17 cm panoramic camera.

He is considered by many to be one of the most gifted photographers of his generation. His works have a unique quality, combining traditional image making with subtle contemporary minimalism.
