For the most part, I photograph women because the aesthetic form of the female body inspires me, it is the most compelling and provocative; it is perhaps nature's finest form.
Most of my work is done in the studio, but I also like adventure, and often find myself on location.
I have an Anthropology and Art History background, and as such, I believe that my photographs reflect upon the beauty of humanity, just as the ancient Greek sculptors attempted to breathe life into stone and draw out perfected human form.
As a designer, my work is characterized by a unique and highly graphic style.
Both my commercial and personal work have received national awards and honors.
I make use of both the classic Mamiya Medium Format camera and the Nikon D1X digital camera.
