Rick definitely has come full circle; after working as a commercial/industrial photographer he now teaches and conducts Photoshop classes, Digital photography workshops and lead photo EdVenture tours at Seattle Central Community College. This also happens to be the college where he went through the commercial photography program in the 70’s.
It was his first experience while watching an image magically appear on a blank piece of photo paper, and to capture that one special moment in time to share with others, that lead him into the field of photography.
After working in the imaging industry for the last 30 years as a studio owner, industrial photographer, freelancer, fashion photographer, event photographer, film producer, multimedia producer and a fine arts artist. Rick has changed his focus to teaching, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.
Rick’s photography career includes commercial photography work in the NW for such clients as The Boeing Airplane Company, Key Bank, Nordstrom’s, Museum of Flight, the Wing Luke Asian Museum, and the Group Theatre, to name a few.
