Suzette Troche a.k.a. "The Glitterguru"

Suzette Troche is one of the most sought-after digital artists today. Her commercial images are as visually stunning as they are innovative. A pioneer in the field, she has been working with digital imaging since the early 1980's and co-founded a web design firm in '95, which quickly produced some of the most acclaimed and sophisticated web sites while she was Creative Director. Her experience as an award-winning photographer, freelance artist, and designer, as well as her former partnership in 2wist Photo, has given her a wealth of experience in the intersection of art and technology.

Suzette has successfully mastered all aspects of the advertising world for digital artists. Just recently Suzette was named one of the "Top 40 Photoshop Experts" by Wacom Inc. Troche was also awarded a 2001 "Guru Award" for excellence in Photoshop design, by NAPP and has been nominated for 2 more Guru's in 2002. She has also authored and contributed to many magazine articles PEI (Photo Electronic Imaging), Step by Step Electronic Design, Agosto Design (Japan), Micro Publishing News, Digital Imaging, Photographic Processing, What Digital Camera (U.K.), Digital Imaging (U.K.), Computer Foto (Germany), and Publish. Her client list includes: Epson, Jordana Cosmetics, Siren Make-Up, Milani Cosmetics, Atlantic Golf and others. Suzette has also worked with many celebrities such as, Siegfried & Roy, Brooke Shields, Jenny McCarthy, and Kathy Griffin.

A jazz singer for 10+ years, her stage and recording experience have made her an excellent public speaker. Besides her performing experience and technical know-how, Troche gives advice that only a successful insider can give: real-world experience about what digital work for advertising entails. She puts this knowledge in her PEI column "Advice from the Glitter Guru", sage advice for the Photoshop fiend. Suzette is currently working on her first book for New Riders Publishing, to be released in 2003.
