I was born in Zagreb, Croatia on the 22nd of December, 1980. Since I was a kid, my ability for balance within the frame was excellent and I was showing great intrest in cameras, photography and film (but then again, didn`t we all? :)).
So after finishing elementary school I went to high school for photographic designers, but professors there were too much on the technical side of the problem (photography). I wanted to make photos on walls, plates, glass, even some x-ray portraits, but they never let me do that. So after 4 years, the time came to make a final assignment, and since I wanted to make something diferent, I went in to principal`s office and asked for permission to make part of my work on the computer - he actually accepted it. I was the first one in the history of our school to do something like that.
Since my project was excellent, today everyone in that school has a chance to do something like that. Because there are no higher schools for photography in Croatia, I started to work after high school. Since the situation in our country is very bad, it took me some time to earn enough for a digital camera. Now, I finally have one, and in these few months I have taken over 10,000 images with it.
Since I have good ability to spot a "photogenic motive", I am taking my images pretty fast...I have worked with computers for about 10 years now. Sometimes I play with photos in Photoshop, but I personally think that plain, untouched photographs have much more value than the digitally re-mastered ones. Anyone can make a "miracle" on the computer...
