My name is Jim Ballou Jr. I have been a photographer for about 25 years. In the 70's and 80's I lived in Los Angeles CA. I attended classes at Los Angeles Art Center College of Design and UCLA. At UCLA , I took classes from Robert Heineken, Leland Rice,Judy Dater and workshops and classes from other Los Angeles photographers. I took fine art images for about 10 years with a 35mm camera. I'm still taking them. Now I use a digital camera, a Polaroid and a 35mm film camera.

In the late 1970's and continuing to the present I have taken pictures of various forms of motorsports. One of my images won an award from Porsche and was on the cover of the Porsche calendar.

I have exhibited many times in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Germany and various other locations.

I have also been in many juried shows.
