Chris started off in England learning the trade of photography from a much wiser and slightly older photographer called Malcolm Barker. Malcolm showed him the basics of darkroom work and spent countless hours answering the myriad of questions on technique, content and composition every young photographer asks. Several years on Chris ended up in Australia shooting for a small studio in Sydney and then onto Canada where he finally settled. While Chris really enjoys his commercial work his heart still lies in shooting fine art B&W in the traditional methods of the past.
