Kristupa Saragih is Indonesian-based photographer but often travel overseas. He started photography in 1991 and became professional in 1996. It was a photojournalism that he mainly dealt with at the first time. While improving his skills in photography, Kristupa doing the journalist work by became a correspondent for Hai Magazine, the biggest music and teenager magazine in Indonesia. This position made him easier to get deep into entertainment business, car and motor racing, and music business. It made him easier to travel too, according to the assignments. But now, he deals mainly with fashion and glamour photography, but sometimes does model and catwalk as well.

In 2000, he decided to try his luck in oil business by joining the biggest service company for oil company in the world. With position as field engineer, Kristupa was based in Vietnam and Egypt. He didn't stop making pictures and maintain his website. This was a very different world, with same working style: technical, creative, teamworking, underpressure, time limited and commit to the clients. Started in second-half of the year 2001, he went back to Indonesia and continue making pictures. He was hired by GudegNet, a local portal, to handle a photography corner as a consultant and ask-an-expert forum. He always keep a good contact with his clients: some Indonesian fashion designers and advertising agency, when he goes overseas.
