I started in the local newspaper "Matosinhos Hoje". After 2 years I began shooting sports in a daily sport newspaper called "O Jogo" and after 2 more years working for them and other sports and general news publications, including "Grupo Forum" and "World Soccer Digest" I was invited to "Record", the first daily sports newspaper in Portugal, in witch I still work today. My work is 90% soccer, including UEFA and Champions Leage matchs all over Europe.

As I travel a lot, I always try to capture something about the places I visit, but most of the assignments time is very short for doing what I like. Although I love sports photography, I have the need to (at least sometimes) photograph other things and whenever I can I try to be where other news are happening.
