My name is Leif Bringslimark. I was born in 1954 in Norway, Steinkjer. Now I live in Sweden, Rosvik. I have worked as a photographer since 1986, and I`m also a painter. As you can see, I like to combine photo and paint. I have been interested in art, photo and music since I was a child. Nature and music gives me lot of inspiration. I love Jazz, Classical and World music. As you will see I like to work with abstract images. Abstract gives me a fantastic feeling and freedom, to have fun with colours and music. And I create what I feel. My latest work has been with paint and glass. I also do a lot of "Sandwich"( 2-4 slides in the same frame ) and "Art Photo" in black and white. 75% of my images are made analogical. Today I also work with digital photo and a Mac. My latest exhibition was summer (2002) at Norrbotten Museum, Luleå, Sweden. And the exhibition called : " Music in Color " tribute to the jazzmusic and the recordcompany ECM.

I was published in a norwegian artmagazine " Kunst For Alle " Nr.6/2002 And a norwegians photomagazine " Fotografi " Nr.1/2003.Diploma for excellent work on-art now-2005 www.artoteque.com
