Born in 1953 in Coja, center Portugal, a small nice town close to a mountain area and where I live today with my wife Paula, my son Pedro, my daughter Maria, dogs and cat.
Studied photography a long time ago in Paris.
Have been working in professional cinema between 1975 and 1983 as photographer, production chief and director assistant.
In 1983 started with my wife a ceramic business for production of terracota decorative products. Now she is the main responsible. I retired from ceramics for working as a freelance photographer for three years now.
Photography is my obsession that I never interrupted all along this years. I also practice painting and sculpture since I was a kid.
I love sports like scuba diving, offroad motorbyking and books, lots of books...
In the year 2000, came to me the opportunity for this big adventure the "Around the World in 80 Days", a rally for classic cars starting in London - Tower Bridge the 1st May, and back again to Tower Bridge the 18th July, after 80 incredible days around the planet.
I took part in the adventure as the navigator in Car nr.40, a beautifull BENTLEY R-Type from 1953.
Now I'm preparing photography exhibitions and a book about the trip.
