Sam's abstract and alternative work in the medium can be compared to the work on an impressionist painter's canvas, as she manipulates her images through various in-camera and darkroom techniques.

What is really amazing about the work in Sam's portfolio, is the fact that she does not use any digital manipulation in the creation of her images. Everything is done in the traditional form of the medium! Wow, this is painstakingly incredible work.
