Jerry Philipson became a professional photographer after spending twenty five years working with people in need for non-profit social service agencies throughout Canada. He has degrees from Syracuse University and the University of Ottawa, and a certificate in Professional Photography from the New York Institute of Photography. He has lived in Edmonton, Alberta since 1986 and taken photographs for many local agencies.

Jerry is married with two grown children and particularly enjoys travelling and photographing in Western Canada. He is available for specific assignments and projects as well as having his photographs for sale through his web site at: Westcanpoto.com.
