Profotos Staff Evaluation:

The work in Joanne Chilton's portfolio has a completely different style than most others we have reviewed at Profotos. Her fine art style of photography is very simple, yet it carries a very deep and often spiritual meaning beneath the surface.

Joanne has been working in the art field for most of her life, and the images within her portfolio reflect this life-long commitment to the field. Several of Joanne's images convey a definite sense of mood and feeling through her emotional use of color, texture, and composition. The image on this page is a great example of Joanne's use of simple objects, to create intense emotions. Not only is this image a perfect example of completmentary contrast, but it is also a wonderful example of the rule of thirds and juxtaposition as well. Several of Joanne's images convey these ideals, as well as many others, which work together to create striking photographs.

Our staff truly enjoyed reviewing the images in Joanne's portfolio. We believe that she is a very gifted artist with some amazing work, and we believe you will feel the same way too!
