Kevin grew up in the entertainment industry and has always had a creative mind for the visual arts: from acting to dancing to singing to stage and lighting design and producing and directing theatrical performances. From the age of two, he was performing on the stage and won many national awards for his dance and vocal performance skills. His credits in musical theatre both on the stage and off could fill up three pages on a resume. A car accident forced him to leave the on-stage aspects of the performing arts. Having grown up with a camera in his hand documenting his travels and experiences in the performing arts and of every day life in his quiet hometown in Branford, Connecticut, photography now took a front seat in Kevin's life.

Directly out of High School, he was offered a position with McMillen Advertising Corporation. He immediately moved up the corporate ladder from Telemarketer/Lead Generator to Account Executive. From there, he took a position with Venture Direct Worldwide in New York City as a National Media Specialist. He believes that his advertising background helps him create images that sell products and lifestyles for his clients. In 1999, Kevin left the corporate world to pursue his love of photography full-time.

For two years, he ran a photography studio in the “art district” of Downtown Orlando before ultimately relocating to New York City. Mr. Reed is a graduate of Mid-Florida Technical Institute’s Commercial Photography Program and has studied Fashion and Commercial Photography at New York City’s Fashion Institute of Technology (a SUNY college) where he has earned an A.A.S. in Photography.

Kevin specializes in fashion, beauty, and advertising photography and is a member of American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP), Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Advertising Photographers of America (APA), National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP), National Press Photographers Association (NPPA), Photo Marketing Association International (PMA), and Digital Imaging Marketing Association (DIMA).

Most recently, he has worked for Supermodels Unlimited Magazine, Sinar Bron Imaging, AURA Fashions by Hila Ohana, WRECORDS Fashions, Mimz NYC, Innotech Systems, Inc, and McMillen Advertising Corporation. He is an Executive Producer of Shut Up & Model (a television show to air Fall 2005 on network television.).
