Light Fantastic helps you become a better photographer by keeping our groups small and providing hands on instruction while you travel to some of the most photogenic locations in the world. Landscapes, villages, still lifes, graphic patterns, and close up photography are presented and discussed. Participants come away with a thorough understanding of topics such as depth of field, composition, "rule of thirds", how to meter light, pre-visualization and what generally contributes to shooting a compelling photograph. We believe learning is accomplished by seeing and doing, not sitting in a classroom. Creative techniques such as slow motion, use of filters, low light and night photography will also be explored. You will come home with the types of images that you have always dreamed about.
Enjoying the festivals, markets, dancing and culinary delights of the local culture are part of our creative journey, and since we also have a lot of fun, one that you will long remember.
Upon returning from a Light Fantastic Photo Tour, you will have the opportunity to have your creative expression critiqued and your best images showcased on our web site Client Photo Gallery.
