Originally from the state of Washington, John became enamored by the scenic landscapes of the Olympic National Park, the tulips of the Skagit Valley and the rolling hills of the Palouse. Using a combination of 35mm, medium format and panoramic cameras, John uses the flexibility of these formats to obtain the image that he seeks.

More recently, John assisted in the production of the "America Wide" book with Ken Duncan. This book features America's landscape in a panoramic format. After traveling throughout America searching for its photographic wonders, John has been inspired to continue the search for those glorious landscapes that God has created around the world.

John is currently freelancing in Australia where the opportunities for beautiful landscape images are endless. He will travel back to the states to complete a panoramic landscape book on Washington in 2003.
