CJ Pritchett first picked up her camera as a young girl, and hasn’t put it down since. Soon after college, she decided to see the planet, and wound up in New Zealand. The natural beauty of that area inspired her love of landscape, and helped to shape her unique style. Strange, oblique angles, light that other photographers wouldn’t dare try, these are the challenges she loves.
She is first and foremost a great Nature and Landscape photographer. Her love of wildlife is quite apparent in her photos and she has made a mission of showing the creatures we share this planet with, both as an artistic endeavor, and a vehicle to raise awareness.
Now making her home in the redwoods of Northern California, she has found a place of staggering beauty to further inspire her work.
CJ is equally at ease whether using 35mm or digital cameras. (Although she claims she will never part with her classic Pentax K1000.)
Being an artist means more than just having experience behind the lens, it’s the willingness to go to new places and try new types of shots.
CJ is truly a nature and wildlife photographer who has something special to offer, and the world will be seeing much more from her.
CJ and her husband/partner Brett have recently formed a company named FAC Images. They finally have the opportunity to combine their photographic skills and present the world with beautiful photographs and do something together they truly love.
