The first thing about photography I was drawn to was fast film and its grain,(specialy the grain), despite the photographers at the time always saying grain was bad I found this the real unique thing about photography.

The main idea behind my work is akin to the impressionist painters. With photography the blur of long exposure forming the fuzzy disintegration of memory, but held within a frozen moment. The colour cast on some of the images add more to the temperture of the day and the feelings of the moment.
