Exquisite fine art photography, digital imaging and beautiful portraiture are all a part of the portfolio of Borislav Kaikov. Borislav's long career as a professional image maker in his hometown of Varna, Bulgaria has made him one of the most recognized photographers in this Eastern European nation.

Borislav's images represent some of the latest advances in the use and manipulation of digital imaging technology, while exhibiting many characteristics of traditional fine art studies at the same time. This relationship between traditional image production and new digital technologies, is what makes a lot of Borislav's images stand out as being among the best.

Our staff especially enjoyed the way in which Borislav manipulates colors in his images, to create a sense of emotion and interaction with his viewers. The image at the top of this page is a great example of this creative use of color found in many of Borislav's images. Contrasting colors at opposite ends of the spectrum tend to create a sense of tension and strong emotion in an image. Borislav is a master at controlling this response through the creative use of color in his images.
