Our staff at Profotos was impressed by the exceptional quality of Rick's racing images, several of which could win awards just for their artistic quality alone.

One of the most interesting aspects of Rick's images is the way he "pans" with the vehicles to create a great sense of motion and speed. This panning effect is very difficult to produce and it only comes with a lot of experience. Some of our staff members actually have a difficult time capturing motion while a vehicle is moving at only 50km/hour, let alone 250+km/hour! Rick produces this effect flawlessly, at any speed - we're jealous, Rick :=)
