The true nature of landscape photography can only be enjoyed to its fullest, when the images are captured through the lens of a view camera. The large negative size has the ability to create some of the most beautiful images we could ever dream of seeing.

Robert Hunt is a true master of capturing the landscape on film with one of these large, and sometimes cumbersome view cameras. Robert's images of the American West contain a sense of surreal beauty and the ideal serenity of days-gone-by. Robert's compositions are flawless, and his use of light and color lend themselves very well to producing images, which are not only beautiful and inspiring, but "striking" in every sense of the term.

Our staff was inspired by the perfection of Robert's images while reviewing his portfolio for inclusion on Profotos. Very few photographers have the ability to merge all of the elements together (exposure, lighting, composition, use of color, etc...), as well as Robert Hunt can. This is the portfolio of a master of the landscape photography medium.
