Profotos Staff Evaluation:

Drew Cunningham's work in professional photography is quite "frontal" and "in your face" in its nature. Several images in Drew's portfolio can be compared to those belonging to some of the best photographers who have ever photographed in the street portraiture and photojournalism areas of the medium. Our staff was very inspired by Drew's incredible style "in your face" photography, where his subjects tend to become one with the camera, photographer, and audience.

One image, which breaks away from this style, is included on this page. This image (the person on the beach) is very well composed, and the lighting is perfect for producing an unidentifiable, silhouetted form. There is definitely an element of mystery and intrigue present in this image. Why is the person standing on their hands? Is it a posed condition, or was it spontaneous?

As you can see by our comments here, our staff believes that the work in Drew's portfolio is definitely among the best in the world.
