Throughout life, I have been fascinated with light -- its changing qualities and characteristics. I believe that quality light is the dominant factor in successful photography.
Living on a lake in a remote wooded area, I observe, study, and photograph birds and wildlife regularly. In the process, I love to learn about my subjects and their natural environment. I strive to showcase my subjects in visually-engaging images using exceptional light.
My photographs have been published byAudubon, Boating Life, Birder's World, Equus, Nature Photographer, National Wildlife, Nature's Best Photography, North American Nature Photography Association, Outdoor Oklahoma, Peterson's PHOTO-graphic, and Wild Bird. A number of my images have won awards.
I authored "Understanding and Using the RAW File Format", recently published by Naturescapes.net. Also, I am a member of the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA). You can see more of my photography at my website: www.rondayphotography.com.
