I was born in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia, USA. I am a filmmaker, screenwriter, and photographer. I have always had a hidden desire to explore photography. While a MFA student at the New York Film Academy, Universal Studios, I was the Director of Photography on several student films. I really enjoyed being behind the camera and my hidden desire of what it would be like to photograph still pictures resurfaced. A year later I bought a digital slr camera and photographed several teenagers that I mentor and their friends. The pictures turned out great and from there started my career.

I was recently awarded Honorable Mention in the Editorial and People categories of the International Photography Awards 2008 Competition. I love taking pictures of people, places, and things. I like to use natural lightening, but will soon take on artificial lightening. I think everything is a piece of art waiting to be photographed.
