My love affair with photography began at age twelve when I developed my first roll of film. Since then I’ve pursued every possible photographic experience. Starting as a staff photographer for both my junior and high school annuals, I graduated to studying under such renowned fine art photographers as Al Weber, David Vestal, Howard Bond, Kim Weston and Alan Ross for the past 23 years, During that time, I've honed my skills in both film and digital camera formats. I have also studied portraiture with Bobbi Lane at several of her workshops in Sante Fe. My true passion is B/W print making. I've gone so far as to build my own dark room to preserve the B/W print art form and continue my passion. Most recently, however, I've been experimenting with Digital High Dynamic Range. HDR is truly an exciting process in digital photography and promises to provide better results than film with its ability to record the wide dynamic range of a scene.
