Rick Etkin Photographs is located in the south False Creek area of Vancouver, BC, Canada. The Studio is a 4100 sq. ft., fully equipped and well appointed working environment.
Rick Etkin has worked in advertising photography since 1978, shooting for clients from Vancouver to Stockholm and ranging in size from small retail to Microsoft Int'l. Rick's work has won numerous awards and has had work featured in magazines from Korea to Italy. From Archive and Graphisphoto in Europe to the Design Journal in Korea, Applied Arts, Marketing and Studio Magazine in Canada as well as How, Print, Ad Age, Ad week, Photo District News.
Rick was born, educated and has based his photographic business from Vancouver. A dual US and Canadian citizen, Rick is freely able to travel and work in the US and most other locations.
Rick has been an active member of the advertising, photographic and volunteer community in Vancouver. Rick was the founding president of CAPIC Vancouver chapter and a National VP. He has been a member of the Lotus Awards committee and guest speaker at local colleges. Rick also has supported local children's charities: Variety Club, Big Brothers, Vancouver Children's Hospital have all worked with Rick to help in their print and or TV campaigns.
