John Keedwell - master photographer.,John Keedwell has been photographing since his early teens, and started his career in the film and TV business after graduating from Harrow Film School in 1984. He has worked on many Pop videos and documentary films spanning the globe. He has travelled widely, and has produced images in as far flung locations as Siberia, China, Australia, Japan, Russia, USA, Canada, and Mexico, along with such places as the Sahara desert, Norway in winter all through Africa and India and Middle Esat and Far East.

His photography has been a passion, but for many years the film and TV business took the main source of work and income. His main passion is monochrome fine art nudes, although travel and landscape photography also holds a great interest.

John's recent imagery comes from using the human body as a landscape, and showing contours and form through use of light and dark as an item of great beauty. In recent years, his photography has developed into more of an abstract of fine art style, urging the viewer to examine the images in greater detail to try and determine exactly what they are viewing. Sometimes the image appears on first appearance to be something that on closer inspection is found to be something quite different. The viewer sometimes has to work a great deal at working out the image, which is John's intention. The intention is to push the viewers imagination to a new level, and not to presume anything on face value.

Clients
Most of the work exhibited is available for sale as limited edition prints directly to the client. Commissions are also undertaken on a personal level for specific purposes. The aim is to produce images that are seen as images of great beauty, and that could be placed on a wall in an boardroom or home wall.
