One of the first thoughts in the minds of our staff at Profotos, when we viewed Gerard's portfolio was "unique." Gerard's work in photography is very unique in its design and style, as he incorporates the old and the new in his images. While this uniqueness is quite different than many photographers, whose work we have reviewed in the past, it does contain elements seen in some of the best masters of the craft.

Studies:
· Ecole EFET when i was 20 years old (in Paris). It is a private school which forms students to audiovisual arts in order to be professional. It was created in 1970 in Paris.
· Beaux-arts (Orleans) for 2 years. (school of arts)
· I am working with a Pentax 6X7, Nikon 24X36 and a digital camera Olympus E-10 ( for the late pictures).

I am working today for a local newspaper in Orleans where i am creating publicity and the numerique gave me the opportunity to make also new style of photography.

I have been making pictures for 30 years and i love studio photography ( portraits, female nudes, glamour...).
