When most people think of advertising photography, they think of magazine spreads with studio product shots and set-up scenarios. They do not usually think of outdoor environmental portraits and location work, as being part of the advertising business. However, this part of the medium is very large and Brian Leonard's images are at its forefront.
Brian has been working as a photographer since 1985 and his outstanding portfolio is evidence to his long-time career in the professional imaging field. The staff at Profotos was very impressed by the quality of all of Brian's images, as each one offered something of great reward to the portfolio.
This is one advertising photographer's portfolio you do not want to miss, if you are looking for the type of images that break away from the general mindset of this field. Our staff enjoyed reviewing the exceptional images in Brian's portfolio and we believe you will feel the same way. After all, this type of break-away photography does not come around very often!,I have been a professional photographer for 16 years.
My career began in London in 1985 assisting a variety of photographers from
Dudley Reed to James Merrell to Jan Baldwin.
I set up my own studio in 1989 and worked for an assortment of clients
including Conde Nast, National Magazines, Royal Mail, BBC, Reuters as well
as various design groups and agencies.
Seeking a better lifestyle, I migrated to Australia in 1996 where I have been
working as a freelance photographer for editorial and advertising agencies.
Alongside this, I have been producing self generated images and stories for
the editorial field.
I have been chair and treasurer of the ACMP NSW and am currently the editor
of it's monthly publication, fNet.
