After careful thought, I replied that it was more like an affair, and because of that it was still enjoyable, retaining the passion and fun. However, I am not knocking marriage - I just think this describes my attitude towards what I do better than any other simile.

Heading into a new century may have helped to trigger my constant quest for improving my mental and spiritual awareness with more vigour than normal. It has also made me take a moment to sit back and survey my artistic influences. My work is still as important as ever, but I am tending to shoot less and take more time on the creative aspects. This is a more rewarding experience than being driven by a need to fill bank balances, as I am an artist at heart. Photography is my personal utopia - immortalising someone on celluloid is a very empowering experience, however corny that may sound to some.
