 I have been in photography since early 1970s with my training in (West) Germany in the field of advertising, sales promotion photography and darkroom techniques in B&W and Colour. On returning to India at the end of year 1977, I started working as a freelancer continuing the same work here for mostly direct clients. It has been a divided attention with other non photographic related family business till today. I got my satisfaction of life doing paid photographic assignments covering various aspects of photography like industrial, people, fashion, portraiture, model portfolio development, food, product / still life, interiors and exteriors, etc. I have no very big names to boast of as most of the times I have helped new comers (agencies/ clients) into the advertising field set up base. I have lots of direct clients from garment industry to highly polished products like silver and brass. A few years here, I was invited by a very famous institute - National Institute of Fashion Technology in Delhi to help the students learn basic photography as an additional medium / tool of expression including an insight into digital photography.
